GREEn addresses the environmental impact of tourism. By implementing a Deposit-Refund Model, GREEn incentivises tourists to use reusable products, reduce waste, and promote proper disposal practices. The project focuses on the Can Gio Biosphere Reserve in Vietnam, targeting stakeholders such as tourists, eco-tourism operators, the local community, and authorities. With a strong emphasis on environmental protection, reduction of plastic waste, visitor engagement, and sustainable revenue generation, GREEn offers a comprehensive solution to promote sustainable tourism practices and preserve the biodiversity of eco-tourism destinations.
