Assoc. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nguyen Hong Quan

Dr. NGUYEN Hong Quan is currently an associate professor at the Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh city (VNU-HCM). He is is a passionate sustainability leader with over 20 years of experience advancing water management, climate resilience, and the circular economy. His work bridges science, policy, and innovation in supporting Vietnam’s transition toward a more sustainable and inclusive future. He has published over 100 ISI/Scopus-indexed papers, including in Nature and Sustainable Development, and actively advises the Vietnamese government on science, technology, and environmental policy. Dr. Quan also contributes globally as an editorial board member for Circular Economy and Sustainability, Frontiers in Sustainability, and PLOS Sustainability and Transformation, and as a Policy Advisory Board member of the Global Circularity Protocol for Business.  

TS. Nguyễn Hồng Quân là Phó giáo sư tại Đại học Quốc gia Tp. Hồ Chí Minh. Ông là một chuyên gia đầy nhiệt huyết trong lĩnh vực phát triển bền vững, với hơn 20 năm kinh nghiệm trong quản lý tài nguyên nước, thích ứng biến đổi khí hậu và kinh tế tuần hoàn. Ông quan tâm kết nối giữa khoa học, chính sách và đổi mới sáng tạo – góp phần thúc đẩy quá trình chuyển đổi xanh và bền vững của Việt Nam. Ông đã công bố hơn 100 bài báo thuộc hệ thống ISI/Scopus, bao gồm trên các tạp chí hàng đầu như Nature và Sustainable Development, đồng thời tham gia tư vấn chính sách cho Chính phủ Việt Nam trong các lĩnh vực khoa học, công nghệ và môi trường. TS. Quân còn là thành viên ban biên tập của Circular Economy and Sustainability, Frontiers in Sustainability và PLOS Sustainability and Transformation, cũng như tham gia Hội đồng tư vấn chính sách của Mạng lưới Toàn cầu về Kinh tế Tuần hoàn cho Doanh nghiệp (Global Circularity Protocol for Business).
