Senior Advisor to the Minister of Environment for International Relations and Environmental Diplomacy

Erik Teguh Primiantoro, S.Hut., MES serves as the Senior Advisor to the Minister of Environment for International Relations and Environmental Diplomacy, Republic of Indonesia. With over 25 years of experience in environmental policy, sustainable development planning, and international cooperation, he has been deeply involved in shaping Indonesia’s environmental diplomacy. 

He previously served as Director for Forest Resource Monitoring and Inventory and Director for Environmental Impact Prevention of Sectoral and Regional Policy at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. 

A graduate of York University, Canada, with a master’s in environmental studies, Erik has represented Indonesia in major international forums including UNFCCC COP and FAO COFO, advancing science-based environmental policy and sustainable governance initiatives.
