Saka serves as a representative of the Assistant to the Special Staff of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia. He focuses on advancing innovation ecosystems, research-to-industry linkages, and technology-driven development through cross-sectoral collaboration. His work is aligned with Indonesia’s strategic priorities in downstream industry development, digital transformation, and capacity building. 

With a strong interest in inclusive innovation and applied research, Willy plays an active role in evaluating proposals and initiatives that seek to create real-world impact — particularly those that bridge academia, industry, and government. As a jury panellist, he brings a policy-oriented lens and a deep understanding of the innovation landscape, with emphasis on sustainability, local empowerment, and economic value creation.
