Thailand

The Thailand Chapter is part of the Mekong Plastics Innovation Alliance.

We know the problem of plastic is much bigger than any one country and through a collective, united, and regional approach we can achieve so much more.

That’s why we’re building on our success in Vietnam and launching programs in Thailand.

How the Hub works

The Plastic Innovation Chapter Thailand as part of the Plastics Innovation Alliance Mekong works in partnership with:

  • The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT)
  • National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)
  • Thailand Environment Institute (TEI)

The Chapter addresses a key gap in the innovation ecosystem by focusing on design and delivery of deep-tech solutions in emerging or under-resourced domains.

The Chapter works in partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders in areas ranging from technology, behaviour change, business model innovation, regulation, policy, and social license.
