Disruptive plastic solutions towards climate change adaptation

Greenhope were the 2022 winners of our Indonesia Hub Demo Day. They are an Indonesian start-up developing new technology that transforms sustainably sourced cassava into biodegradable bioplastic. To date, Greenhope have improved the livelihoods of nearly 200 farming families and successfully replaced 12 billion pieces of conventional plastic.

Whether transforming abandoned fishing nets into high-quality, low-carbon plastic raw materials or developing systems to revolutionise Indonesia’s plastic waste management value chain – many inspiring innovations will be on display as part of the Indonesia Hub’s Demo Day.
